First day of CNY had me wearing a dress of my current favourite colour: Electric Blue!

Ohai, school has made me busy like a bee!!

Thank goodness CNY is round the corner and I can take a short break! :)

Was busy sorting the photos I took using my camera and decided to upload some recent ones!

Yes using my new oven and baking for the first time!!! :)

I don't know why I feel so excited as I typed this.

Okay as I was saying, my cookies were weird.

In the dough sense.

They aren't the moldable kind. :(

I bought like stars and hearts shaped cookie cutter which couldn't be used at all.

See my batter and you'd know...

Nevertheless, they look fine and are still edible. ;)

And I managed to cut them when they finished baking since some of them were still soft (they hardened towards the end).

Not bad for a first time hor? ;)

Got some of the baking items like eg. cookie cutters from Daiso!

Planning to head down to Phoon Huat soon as many of my baking friends recommended!

There're definitely more stuff to get over there! :)

#496 - New Year Resolutions for 2012

Time of the year again, to look back at my New Year Resolutions which I never fail to complete. T.T

Well it's okay to look back and see how much I've grown up by comparing my resolutions I had last year with this year's. :P

Resolutions I made on 2010 for this year:

New Year Resolutions for 2011

- Lose weight (I've to start a diet REAL soon, omg I hate myself)

- Chew my food for at least 30 times before swallowing (I know this is weird but it works hand in hand with my first resolution)

- Do my best to get my Black belt for Taekwondo by the end of 2011 (Currently blue and going for the January 2011 one)

- Run 2.4km at least once every ...three weeks

- Book an appointment with a dentist and extract all of my wisdom teeth (I've been dragging this thing for long because I hate visiting the dentist, maybe I've got dentophobia)

- Be more matured when I deal with problems

- Save up as much money as I can (IS A MUST!)

- Get more tops and shoes (which contradicts what I said about saving as much money as I can)

Every year this time, I hate myself.

Because I totally did NOT try my best in fulfilling at least one at all.

*go bang wall*

Let's see!

I did not lose weight BUT maintained the same so I guess I will work harder?
Chew food 30 times? I am shocked I typed that. Bah.
Omg this is the saddest, I can't get my Black Belt anymore because my grading card is with my coach and I am too lazy to meet him to get it and I also don't want to commit to CCA in university. :'( But hey I am brown belt now! Up 2 belt levels yo!!
Run 2.4km? Who am I kidding?
Omg one resolution fulfilled! Went for a checkup and turned out that I shouldn't extract them yet since they haven't erupted out and I already book TWO appointments for next year!!! freddiemercury.jpg

Save up? Hmm trying my best yo! And I signed up with ChurpChurp and Gushcloud. Recently cashed out from Gushcloud, waiting for $$ come to me. And Imma cash out a 3 digit sum from Nuffnang soon!!! :) And then get bursaries when I can. :D
More tops and shoes? I got like 16 tops 3 rompers 2 outerwear 7 shorts 2 dresses 2 skirts 3 bags 3 belts and tons and tons of rings and necklaces and 5 pairs of shoes. Yeah I went to count.
And I am sure it's not a lot compared to those who splurge freely on brands/blogshops! ;)
Let's ignore the amount I spent on I-think-more-than-10-plus-bottles-of-nailpolishes.
Anyway I am still at this mindset that I can get pretty nice good and cheap stuff at places like FEP/Bugis/Gmarket if I hunt well and it's proven!!!
Blogshops sells similar items at like $6 - $10 more okay!! So I think I sort of saved up by getting from the places itself. Teehee. :>

Okay enough.
The time has come...

- Stop setting resolutions that I can never fulfill
- Get a baking oven and bake bake bake
- Cook more dishes
- HIGHER GPA PLEASE
- Study/mug real hard, never letting the same thing happen to me this year happen again

#495 - Christmas with the SHRIMS SS

Christmas was spent with a few of the Shrimmies.

Only 6 of us turned up (Kunda joined us later).

We had no plans except for gift exchange and then Roger suggested a homecooked dinner.

And so, a homecooked dinner it is! :)

I am the supervisor for the day while the rest cook!

Yepps I was that bored.

Christmas was yesterday and exactly a week ago, my uncle organised an advanced Christmas lunch buffet for us!

Place was

at PARKROYAL Hotel @ Beach Road.

Reached there early (surprisingly although there were SMRT breakdowns that day) so there was nobody yet thus I had the chance of taking photos of the food available!

What I ate was not worth what I paid that day.

A day before my birthday, I had two surprises.

One was that I went to Mint Museum of Toys.

I have been wanting to go there for agesssss so you can guess how happy and excited I was! :)

I am so easily contented.

I have too much photos taken thus I am gonna split them into 2 entries.

Gonna be a little dry unless you're genuinely interested in toys from the past!

Took the lift up to the last storey and slowly walked all the way down. :)

Hello, today yours truly turns 19.

Last teenage year of my life and my brother reminded me today is the day I stop growing. :(

Oh wells.

Anyway, I dyed my hair again!

Chestnut brown this time!

I like to be safe because my roots grow out damn fast and me no want it to be uglyyyy.

And yes, I had a happy birthday this year.

Just a random entry to test out the new 'Miniature Effect' installed in my LX5. :)

Updated my version of LX5 using the link shared by fellow LX5 users the other day.

It has other updates too, other than the Miniature Effect!

Terms that are foreign to yours truly. :B

Okay I don't really know what Miniature Effect means and google doesn't really help much, for me.

But from the photos I took, the effect is that it focuses on certain part of the object and made its surrounding blur and the colours are very vivid too! :)

Can you see the focus on my toenails? :D

Nail colour is China Glaze's Dorothy Who.

Anyway, I bought something random online the other day.

A foot mask!

Have yet to try it though, will do so soon and if it's good, I might review it. :)

Actually it's pretty meh and most of the funny stuff are already in the trailer.

Anyhow, before that we went to Kazokutei for dinner!

QQ goodness!

Apparently, their soba are handmade.

Their omurice tastes better than Ma Maison, surprise surprise!

But you'd get sick of the patty and sauce after a while. :/

Wee, exams are finally over! :)

But somehow, it just doesn't feel the same.

Well I guess it's always like this.

You are always looking forward and planning what you are going to do after your exams.

And then after exams, when the day finally arrive, you're like stoned. :/

December is going to be so eventful for me!

Meetups, Birthday celebration, Christmas dinner, BBQs, Chalets, Eating eating and more eating!

I can't wait! :)

And I finally renewed and collected my new Pastamaniac card and vouchers after procrastinating for so long!

This reminds me I need to make an appointment with the dentist for my fillings. :(

And so yesterday was the last day for the 1 for 1 McNuggets, how could I miss this out!!!

#478 - Weird Dreams

Okay this is a really dumb entry and you can don't read this. I am just recording a weird dream I had today so that when I look back at my archives labelled under 'Weird' or 'Dreams', I can maybe, reminisce?

-Dream start-

I dreamt that I was having some national exam and you know who are the ones taking the exams with me? My primary school friends! And we were in our primary school uniform and I remember seeing Keith and Afiqah in the primary school uniform and we were queueing up to enter the examination hall. LOL.

Then suddenly, I feel the urge to go toilet (what's new) and then tried to get a teacher's attention. The next moment, I was sitting on at my examination seat and then asking my Chinese teacher from primary school, 余老师 if I can go to the toilet. He gave me the death stare and said NO. Like totally stern and then started scolding me saying that no one is allowed to go to the toilet at all when there is national exam. He used to be a kind teacher all this while, and I had to dream of him in the stern face. I still remember that stern face vividly. Wtf I know.

So I started pleading with another teacher and the teacher was this Hong Kong actor (so absurd I know right) and he tried to help me. He told me all the toilets near the examination hall are locked and there is no way I can enter. So I suggested the toilet at the back of the classrooms (you know Kranji Sec's classrooms always have toilets at the corner one? Yupp, that, my dreams very logical in a way one) and then the Hong Kong actor teacher gave me a sad face. He told me the rain previously caused a tree to collapse and block the toilet door entrance so I can't use that at all.

Then I decided to sneak out without anyone noticing. And you know what? When I left the examination hall, I realised I was at the void deck of my house. So obviously I rushed home to use the toilet.
