ELDDS Camp `07 ♥

okay. i am back here after a good night sleep yesterday to update on what has been happening to me in camp. it's gonna be so boring so i suggest you guys not to read it.

but before i start, i shall talk about something else. recently i submitted a collage on the 2a-ians to U-weekly. and it got selected. (pls refer to this week's U-weekly to see/find out more) i actually took a photo of the magazine page but it's in the other com now and i am lazy enough to transfer it here, so i shant post it up then. hahahhaha.

anyway camp. :DD this camp was like fun-ner than those i had last time, no idea why, there wasnt a moment when i feel sad, i was happy plus tired throughout the 3days in school. :))))

when i reached the school, many were already there. left our stuff in the 2a (love) classroom and the 2h classroom., the girls and the boys respectively. went spin room and got to know our new trainer, Mr Helmi Fita. he looked so darn strict but actually he's quite funny. plus he is able to control ppl, someone in particular. hhahahahha. :D

we were told to introduce ourselves first and then we had our first physical training which includes stuff like front roll, back roll, headstand, handstand and cartwheel. plus those piggyback thing. i was partnered with emilia and yeah, i think everyone enjoyed it. Mr Helmi made all the stunts seem like so easy, i think it's ok. after all that, lunch came. cooked by asyiqin's mother and i think it's great. her mum is a good cook. :D:D:D

after lunch, Mr Helmi split us into groups and we had to think of a group name. natalie neo wanted sexy in the name so in the end, we were known as the 'sexy psychos'. :) then we were told to brainstorm for ideas for the Traffic Light Project thingy. eg. what does a traffic light means to us, the three colours of it represented what, etc. and we were told to construct a mindmap to show the different colours. and yongkian said 'bra' for all 3. that pervert. hahahha. he played some music later and we were supposed to feel ______. i tried hard to feel but somehow i dont really get it. the music sounded funny, i swear. it sounded like ppl moaning. :/

later in the evening, i went with weisheng to lot 1 to collect the cakes and flowers for ms fazlin, ms maryrajoo and the seniors. there was this monster mash dance which we missed cos the dance were taught when we
were away. then i went around the school seeing the juniors getting prepared for the horror night thingy. their costumes were great and i think they put in a lot of effort in it. yepps. (: & i love huda's hairband which shuhua wore for the horror thingy. it was like when you wear it, a knife seemed to like stab through your head. aiya. diff to explain over here. :/ the sec4 came later and many took photos. then we had this prize presentation thing and yeah, it was really very ______, touching? i cant find a suitable word lah.

the juniors started dancing later to the monster mash songs, super cute and funny. :D:D we had dinner cooked by ms fazlin if i am not wrong and later cakes. super yummy. ((: games later and many got dirty in the flour game. messes were all around and we all helped in clearing up. then we were told that we could clean up and sleep already. bath in the boys toilet (no one was inside and we got permission from the guys already) since there was not enough cubicles in the girls' one and there were less number of boys in ELDDS. emilia was tired and she went to sleep early while deb and i went to play card games with some of the sec1 juniors plus yongkian since they have not sleep yet. we played this 'hamburger' game, cheat etc. so so fun playing in the dark. slept at like 2 plus plus later and everytime i woke up, either feeling cold, or pain due to the fact that my tail bone hurts. the floor felt so hard. Wednesday, 28 Nov 2007
i was aching all over when i woke up the next day. D: we had eggs and hotdogs plus milo for breakfast prepared by doreen, weisheng, guanyeow and andrey if i am not wrong. thanks. ((:

later during physical training, we lied down on the floor and listen to the peaceful music. it was so long and at times, i thought the music was about to end, it continued playing. :/ were told to do those stunts we learnt the day before on mats later. and then after that, we played A E I O U . funfun. Mr Helmi was like trying to make me laugh so i kept on rolling my eyes so that i wouldnt have to look at his funny face. we had this exercise later to like pretend to be that somebody that Mr Helmi told us to be, eg. professional model, lion, prostitute, etc. (: got into our groups again and discussed our scripts for the Traffic Light Project thing. and yeah, we were considered done.

lunched later on nasi lemaks by the food catering. felt full. if i am not wrong, we had this game later when we were like given a stick and we had to act as though it was something else. i used it as a paintbrush. hahahhahhah.

later in the eveing, we played TABOO and had dinner after that. we gave each other funny nicknames. i was BeeHoon, i had no idea why, Deb was KOKOKRUNCH, Emilia was Mongkok and YongKian was YongTauHu/YongTauFu.

we had group rehearsals later and it was so fun. okay, i know my vocab is very limited since i kept using the word 'fun' but i dont care if you hate it. :D

showered later and then we had this nightwalk thingy. super not scary cos i knew the way around even though we were being blindfolded. my group's facilitator was haikal/haiqal/haiqel and he was patient with us. then we went to the place which he claimed to be the 'Most Haunted Place in School, The DnT Block', which was actually the HomeEcons room cos i smelt milo which was for supper. make me laugh, no idea why. before we entered the 'Most Haunted Place in School, The DnT Block', there were ppl with brooms and feather dusters brushing our feet plus some blowing on our necks. and i was like 'eh, blow more leh, i super hot canz.' hahhahahhah.

supper later with milo, cream of chicken and cream of mushroom soup which was yummy. later had card games in 2H classroom and then later outside on the floor in front of the lift. hahahhah. we felt hungry later and ms tang gave us some milk biscuits which was yummy and some were still hungry after that and so we went to ask ms tang for maggi mee. there were too many who were hungry and so ms tang told all of us to go to bed instead.

Thursday, 29 Nov 2007
i slept well that night, no idea why and then woke up to prepare breakfast for the rest with emilia, deb, yongkian and hwaiyi. i was in charge of cooking the hotdogs since i dont know how to crack eggs. (yes, pls dont laugh, everytime i crack eggs, the shell goes into the egg white/egg yolk.) french toast and milo were cooked by the others and then the rest started coming in for breakfast. later we had this omelette which looked like an underwear so it was called the 'Underwear Omelette'. hahahhaha.

training later again in the spin room and we had games. like duck duck goose and Dog & Bone. my group thrashed the other group in the Dog & Bone game, (10-5) so we got free massage from them, but in the end, we formed this massage train and walked around while massaging. there were obstacles in the way like eg, we had to climb on top of the chairs and tables, or maybe like crawl under the table. i enjoyed it. ((:

then we had this rolling game. where many had to lie flat on the mats while others rolled on them. once in a lifetime experience. :D i think it was cool. dont think that you are light/skinny that when you roll over, you wont hurt anyone. Natalie Tan is like super skinny, but when she rolled over, it hurts cos she's too bony. :/ then we had this Impromptu storytelling session, i didnt go, cos i was so shy. hahhahahah.

lunch later with asyiqin mother's cooking again. the sec3 sat together and we talked a little about the grad show next year. rehearsals later and then it was the actual performance later. blahblahblah. we had group photo with Mr Helmi and then we decided to have him for our trainer next year. sad that next year, i am gonna be sec4 and will be like leaving soon. DD:

we packed up later and a few of us went to eat at Mac, we talked, laughed like crazy and it was home sweet home. (:

i am done with posting but it doesnt really look lengthy to me. ahhhh, whatever. (:

hohohohohohoh. it's been 458734958639561286592865918659056826586534 zillion years since i last updated. the first reason is because i am too lazy. :/ the second reason is that i am currently addicted to maplestory again. :D it seemed so fun now, i just hope i wont get too addicted till i neglected my studies and hols homework. :X

anyway, EL camp tmrw, 27nov till 29nov. wont be updating these days so pls dont expect me to update or something. instead, pls miss me. (: i haven pack my camp stuff yet, gahh. plus i am not going in any weird costume since i have decided not to take part in the horror theme. :(

i read the newpapers (wanbao) yesterday and saw this.

some scientists or what predict that the world is coming to an end on 21 dec 2012. and it caught my attention, so i went on reading. it was like a rumour they said, and also claimed that now many were like talking abt it. (really meh? how come i never hear about it de? read newspapers then know. =.-) then they went to interview ppl, super boliao, whether they believe or not. stupid. :/

i mean like, of course the world will come to an end one day what. believe or dont believe what they predict also no use. you cant stop the world from coming to an end right? but then hor, i dont want to die so young leh. *started counting with fingers* i will be like about 20years old. if i used the predicted world-end date. huh??!! so young leh. i dont want leh. tskkkk. somemore they say is all because of what global warning. okay, acceptable reasons. better than what they predict would happen years back.

like eg:
- 27 November 1997: the world is gonna end because aliens are going to attack the earth. (I laughed like hell i tell you. maybe the scientists watched too much cartoons.)
- July 1999: the king of evil is coming down to earth from heaven. =.-
- 11 August 1999: Moon Eclipse. (more reasonable, but i cant see any link with the world coming to an end)
- 31 January 2001: i dont know what the reason is cos i dont understand the chinese words. what yeshu thing.
- 29 September 2004: a planet was found. they were afraid it would crash into the earth.
- 2006: same reason as the one in 2004.

grad night for some sec 4 and pri 6 people. saw many wearing proper prom attire at the yewtee mrt station today. and my brother today, grad night too. went to the school of cos, pri school, what do you expect. those lousy and cheap buffet, un-air-conditioned hall, with noisy fans. -.= and the theme this year for his school is hip-hop. so common. tsktsk. somemore they still have to pay 5bucks to go. diao. xiang dang nian, my batch dont even need to pay for the lousy grad night lohr.

okay, but this is better than my cousin's. she is sec 4 and actually the school planned for them to go to some grand hotel, i dont remember it, but yeah, in the end, the venue was changed to the school's hall. LOL. somemore they still have to pay, i think, 10 bucks? crazy. wear those prom attire to be just hanging out in the school hall? no way man!

i dont know why, but i keep receiving the stupid email on the orangeshark games thing. very very dumb, super irritating i tell you. normally, i already have lots of junk mail in my account, but all thanks to the birth of this website, i have to delete more mails now. rahhhh. somemore i went to the website to have a look and it's like _____. for those who are really bored. :/ they even have levels. went out today with wanlin and yunhui to JEC to study. we took a hard time hailing a cab from my house there and i was WOLS enough to realise that i took a COMFORT taxi. i found out when i was about to alight which is like so long long. hahahahha. cos i was busy distracting myself in the taxi by keeping on talking since i got motion sickness. :/ lunched at Kobayashi and i seriously think we ate a lot, but it was worth the money. (: studied later and then had 'teabreak' at the cafe in the library.

open house was super ______.

outing later was fun. caught a movie, THE GAME PLAN, at suntec and later cam-whored a little at the esplanade, plus shopping and eating at marina square. and i swear i am never going there to shop again unless someone knows the place darn well, cos we had a hard time finding the place we wanted to go to. :/

THE GAME PLAN is quite a nice movie, with some touching parts, and i cried, a little. yeah. :) and i think i ate more than 1/2 of the popcorn. :X salted popcorn sucks like big time since it's super salty. hahahhahaha.

rahhhhh, super suay last sunday. was at causeway and i saw mr PH and his wife and his kid, okay, his whole family. hahahah. and my mum saw him buying 4D. :S then i got a photo of him. :D but i didnt edit it so that i could show you guys more clearly which one he is, but nevermind. here it is:

and you guys should see this! i saw a very funny toddler in the Metro store that day. he love the mirror so much, he kept standing in front of it and did funny stuff. i was stupid enough ton stand there and just stare and later realised that i could have video-taped it down. so i took 3 videos of him, secretly! :/ but they aint funnier than the ones i didnt video-taped down. hahahah. sorry for the poor video quality though.

sad day with a few happy moments.

saw 7 out of the 12 2a`o6 guys today, such a coincidence seeing them at different places.

firstly, saw chinseng walking in the direction to lot 1 with some of his classmates.
secondly, saw keng wee, yuliang and pit soon. (not from 2a`o6) i saw them walking into the temple near our school. i was bewildered, why in the world would they go into a temple after school? pray? or maybe they just want to take a shortcut, but i think it's rude. :/
thirdly, saw ah ma, ah gong, vernon and another guy (i didnt see who it was, maybe another 2a`o6 guy) at limbang.
forthly, saw junjie on the way home.

it's just plain coincidence but still yeah. and i was shocked when ah ma gave a slight nod of acknowledgement when he saw me. and i just fake-smiled back. cause i was too stunned to react. hahahah. never know that ______________________. it's difficult to fill in the blanks. due to the separation last year, it felt great that 2a`o6 have not become strangers even though we are in different classes now. sigh. the good old times~

went home and i absentmindedly threw my socks into the dustbin. i cant remember what i was thinking about at that time but it seemed important and i treated my socks as litter and threw them. felt stupid. ):

& i realised that i bought the wrong brand of moo moo sweet although they tasted quite the same. may has got the original wrapper and it's totally different. ))))):

anyway, if you guys happened to go to westmall, heard from jiazhi that shunting is working at 'TOM&STEFANIE' at night and you guys can drop by and visit her. but i dont advice you guys to go and scare her, for fear that she might scream suddenly and get fired. :X

& i hope they'd bully you more cause in a way, they are helping me.

knew about the banding for english class today. heard that ms lai is gonna teach the band 1 for combined class of 3c&3e. then ms lee will be teaching the band 2 and ms yong the band 3. only 35 students go to ms lai class and 7 remain in ms lee class. honestly i would prefer having ms lee teaching me again, but this meant that my english is getting lousier. :/ hmm.

Parent Meeting plus Being Sick.

pfft. meet the parents session just now. and for starters, i was relieved i got ms sim. (: took a while to settle down and ms sim started the usual talking on the results blah. and then she looked at me and started 'nagging' away. wah, i tell you, i never felt so dizzy before in my whole life. she was like chanting to me. and the only word i can hear is 'practise, practise, practise and more practise'. i was about to go crazy i tell you. and so my mind drifted away, i looked here and there, then on her table, where there was a name list with the whole class's percentage on maths i guess. i was like looking and looking and then pretending to be listening to her by looking up at her a few times. and the more i looked and listened to her, the dizzier i felt. seriously, i dont know if that is how the Monkey God, Sun Wu Kong felt when his shifu chant. but i think it must have been the same and the feeling was terrible. and my dad was like listening to and i think he dont feel okay either. cos he was quiet the whole while when ms sim was 'chanting' away. hahah. and i was like when is this going to end, until like finally, she passed me the survey form, i was like wahh. FINALLY canz. :D i know it's bad to complain about her cos it's for our own good, but yeah. i can die from nagging. :/

anyway, went to the doctor just now. sad, i have medicine to eat and i hate the cough mixture, taste so ____. the throat lozenges is so effin big! hahah. and i cant eat all those fried stuff as usual. sad. but i lost weight. like 2-3kg? great, cos i am prepared to gain weight during hols. :/

and random stuff. i seriously dont know why the unhealthy stuff taste so nice, but those healthy stuff taste like so bland and so ugh. i think the nicest healthiest food so far is veggie. hahah. and i also dont get why i can memorise the long string of song lyrics by just listening to the songs for like 1-2 times without looking at the lyrics, but if you ask me to memorise those big chunk of formulas i just cant. it's so ____. dumb maybe. maybe the teachers in the future will invent songs for the formulas and stuff so that it will be easier to score during exams. and i can imagine the scene in the examination hall, people singing the songs to the formulas, that's so cool, provided no one goes out of tune which is so impossible. and plus the fact that when the teachers teach the students the songs, they have to go for vocal training lesson so that they wont 'throw their own faces'. hahah. it's nice to daydream and imagine the impossible sometimes. come to think of it, this is the last day of school. and the sec 2 are being separated. the feeling is coming to me again. i remember of how 2a`o6 used to be. time passed so fast, it's been a year. i remembered the last day ended with the street dance competition and 2a got second. it was a memorable day and the class separated feeling happy for the street dance people that day. but the competition didnt mark the last of 2a. it was the chalet, we had so much fun, water bombing all these. seemed as though water bomb was our 2a hobby, like most of the time, we water-bombed. and i still remembered we had bbq at pasir park during sec 1 and some of us were scolded for wetting a shop area. :/ the sad and happy we went through, it was really great. even if there were bad things that happened to us, at least we were being scolded as one. and ms rani, remember? many funny things happened then and i recalled ah gong write a letter about 'talking at the bottom of his lungs'? jokes made in class were super funny, and probably because we are all chinese (not being racist) and we bonded even closer. and and and CFN! 210706. <33>you heard me say i was leaving.

and can you have a time management? you are either late or something. this wasted a lot of time. like today for example. we wasted like more than half an hour trying to get a space so that we can settle down, and plus the fact that we couldnt find you. please, if you are really sincere about helping us, dont be late, and we can also end early and go back home to revise. some people may find your lessons effective, but i beg to differ. yes, maybe you helped me a little in the cloze passage and maybe helped me in understanding some of the words which i have never heard of, but i think that's all i learnt. maybe you think that nanyang girls' have a very high percentage for the HCL, but we are not them. we cant compare with them, we have worked hard already. maybe the way they got so high for their papers is because they stay back till late, but what's the point of following them? it's really no use. all these are really last minute work. i am afraid to see what might happen when it comes to O LVL HCL next year.

okay. i didnt fail many subjects but was very disappointed in some of the subjects i scored. sigh. but what could be done. it's no use crying over spilt milk. how i wish i had not slacked a lot during the MYE, cos i wasnt really in the studying mood then. then with the marks, my grades will be pulled down by a lot. i have to work hard for next year, if i really want to go to a junior college. i thought of many things already, actually. the L1R5 is very important. say for example, the highest grade is like eg B3 for me. then if i got the luck to get B3 for all the 6 subjects i am counting, the total score is like 18?! which is like so high. i think i will get 20 plus plus lah. )))): so in order for me to get like 15 and below, i must have like at least 3-4 A1s or A2. it's really freaking difficult and thinking of the year ahead make me have trouble sleeping. gahhh.

i dont know how can i cope next year man. i cannot be so slack already. i dont know what to do. feeling so lost right now.

rahhh. mrs ram didnt come for history lesson today because she was sick and we got a relief teacher, she is quite tall and masculine and yet she wore a skirt, and the whole class hate her! :/ she was so gl! the moment she entered the library (we had our lessons there), she requested for the guys and the girls to mix together. we were like huh? cause normally the girls and guys were separated into different groups. she made them move to mix around. and she said if the guys dont want to sit next to the girls, they can sit on the girls! O.O crazy ah! somemore, she made a girl sit next to a guy and the seat was actually occupied, we tried to tell her that, and she just said, 'Do i look like i care?' supeeeeeeeer sarcastic i tell you.

plus the fact that she kept asking us what we have learnt and randomly asked questions from the history textbook. LOL. she claimed that we should start a bit of chapter 1 today. like hello? how can we learn when you keep asking stupid questions. when we didnt want to answer, she called us himbos and bimbos. hell. then we chose not to look at her. and guess what she said?! 'Eh, i woke up early in the morning to put make-up on, look at my face lah!' crazy or what? she doesnt even sit properly. she sat on the computer table and then due to the fact that her skirt was short, she zou guang a few times, not that we want to notice. she is utterly digusting and we are utterly digusted by her! GAHHHH!

so in the end, yunhui and jiazhi lied to her saying that they want to go back to class to take their textbooks and they shun bian 'complain' to Mr Ashlee Tan about it. and Mr Tan came and we were told to go back to class! HURRAY! no more looking at that relief teacher. thank goodness she is not a kranji teacher, if not i'm sure there's bound to be chaos. hahahahah!

and i took the XO one. it contains real stuff, XO!

i dont quite like XO so i made my mum drink it first before i finished up the chocolate. it's quite nice.

hahahahahah. today was good. (((:

school was okay. and started off with walk-a-jog but no one seemed to be running so i decided it shall be called walk-a-walk. hahahah. the walk was 3.4km long and we wasted a long time strolling back. we had prize presentations later and cheered darn loudly for the teachers we like. hahahah. halfway, we called canadian pizza so that we wouldnt look pathetic with only a few cans of chips and 2 bottles of beverages. then surprise! we won the class flag competition. weee. and we got a hamper. so yeah, we chen ji used the food so that it seemed as though we bought a lot of things. hahah. the flag is real nice, drawn by ivy.

class party later. was busy eating and the hawaiian and pepperoni pizza were gone in a few seconds, leaving the cheese and the tandoori chicken one. hahahah. had fun playing with cream later and also cam-whoring! :D then yunhui and i realised that there were two packets of merci chocolate left from the hamper so we decided to give them to mr koh and ms sim on behalf of 3c. hahahah. reuse, recycle. oh ya, and ms sim seriously looked nicer and yonuger in jeans and polo tee lah. (:

went to lot 1 later to meet elena with nat. then we took the bus back to kps. turned out that we had to wait until 1 before we can enter the school. rahh. so we took the bus back to lot1, this time with raine along. met with nicole later and elena semi-treated us to bubble tea. she left for home to change and came with samuel later. took the bus and went back to kps. so darn lame i know. not a lot of people went back this year lah. )): mrs thoo has became more feminine and yu lao shi, older. i think he is leaving next year if i am not wrong. dont know why, i see yu lao shi, i felt a sense of nostalgia. :X anyway, a lot of them slimmed down by a lot lah, whereas i think i am the only one who is gaining the weight. so not fair! )): keith slimmed down a lot too. really. and he is so tall now. rahhhh. went home later. :D
