#732 - N Seoul Tower / 설빙 Korean Dessert Cafe

N Seoul Tower/Namsan Tower - Not very photogenic in my opinion.

Didn't go up the tower in the end because we all felt it wasn't worth it and even at the bottom of the tower, we could see quite good view already!

It got prettier as the sky turned darker. The sun sets 7 plus to 8 in Korea? Like it will be still bright at 7pm, feels like 6pm in Singapore.

Things people do to get a better shot of the tower:

Went to see the love locks as well, I guess they look better in bright daylight.
And... they kinda stank as well, guess of the rust and corrosion. Haha.

I always wonder what people do w the keys after locking them, like throw them or something but there were warning signs not to do so, and they have a key bin for those keys!

Trying to go for the artistic feel by focusing the front. Look at the pretty bokehs. :)

A bench for lovers, slanted towards the centre so that they will automatically sit closer to each other hahaha.

N Seoul Tower/Namsan Tower
Nearest Station: Chungmuro Station, Line 3 or 4 / Dongguk University Station, Line 3 / Myeongdong Station, Line 4

There are quite a number of forms of transport there, say if you are taking the bus, you can get up bus no. 2 (yellow in colour) from either Chungmuro Station (Exit 2) or Dongguk University Station (Exit 6) which will stop right below N Seoul Tower.
For cable car, it's a 15mins walk from Myeongdong Station (Exit 3) but I am not sure how!

I took the bus from Chungmuro and it was quite fast!

We had desserts for supper!

 Injeolmi Snowflake Sherbet

Sweet Red Bean Snowflake Sherbet

Not bad, interesting, the powder-like thing tasted okay!
As usual, I like the chewy balls lol.

4 of us shared and we paid 3500won each!
One thing I love about Korea is that there is no GST or service charge. Prices are as listed! (Y)

Mr Bean's mascot look-alike!

#731 - Yoogane Korea

Yoogane in Korea! :D
Definitely taste better than the one in Singapore!

When Yoogane first came to Singapore, everyone was raving about how good it is but when I went to tried it w Raine the other time, we thought it was so-so only.

Korea one never disappoints though!

 The noodles! Forever craving noodles!

W yummy cheesy rice at the end.

Definitely a must-try if you go to Korea. Not really expensive compared to Singapore's!
I think there were 4 of us and each of us paid 7500won! I remembered paying $20+ in Singapore, goodness.

Yoogane (유가네)
Nearest Station: Hyehwa Station, Line 4
Go out from Exit 4, cross the road, and head diagonally right into the first alley. Continue a little more and Yoogane will be on the left.

#730 - Cheonggyecheon Stream

Breaking the hiatus w a short entry of some pictures of Cheonggyecheon Stream.

Walked past this place while going to Dongdaemun at night. It was a pretty and relaxing place, very suitable for going w your loved one(s). :)

There were places to sit down underneath that bridge. There was a slight night breeze also, making it very suitable for taking strolls here.

#729 - Toksochon / Sindangdong Tteokbokki Town

Everyone raved and said it's a must to try the samgyetang at Toksochon in Korea!
So off we go.

We ordered 2 to share among 4 people since the portion was a little huge.
Erm it looks good but taste normal? Too bland (my cousin said I should have added more salt) and I don't really like the herbs taste because I feel it wasn't enough. It was so disappointing and my friends even said they tasted better ones. So I don't know what's the hype about. :(

Ehhh. I love the kimchi though.

Too unsatisfied after the dinner, we had a second dinner at Sindangdong Topokki Street!

There was one whole stretch of restaurants I assume to be selling tteokbokki!

Settled at this place, 마복림할머니떡볶이 (Mabongnim Halmeoni Tteokbokki)!

 肚兜-looking bib LOL.

Om nom nom. Looks like army stew hor?
But no, army stew definitely tasted better!
This one was quite forgettable although the topokki were nicer!
